TQI Solutions announced today it was awarded a task order with a potential value of approximately $4.8 million to provide computer operations support services for the U.S. Navy Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This task order, awarded by the General Services Administration’s Region One, under the Information Technology Professional Services Federal Supply Schedule 70 contract vehicle, represents continuing business in the company’s IT Service Management market area. The task order has a base period of 6 months with four option years.
The COSS program provides Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) with Automatic Data Processing (ADP), Telecommunications Equipment Operations, Data Center Operations and Customer Support for 6,000 to 7,000 users of the current PNS and Navy Marine Corp Internet (NMCI) environment. TQI’s IT engineering team will support complex hardware and software configurations including but not limited to Government owned assets consisting of Windows OS Workstations & Servers, UNIX/LINUX OS servers, Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Storage Appliances.
